Senior Program Manager (Customer Facing) - Remote

In addition to our video technology platform, we offer Product Innovation Programs that help our customers to establish innovation capabilities in order to navigate the complex landscape of options and discover the future of their business.

This role, as part of our customer facing Program Management Office, will lead the delivery and continual improvement of these programs in conjunction with our platform and professional services teams.

Responsibilities
  • Using program management best practices, contribute to evolution, design and delivery of a program that facilitates product innovation using Axonista’s platform, third party technologies, and our delivery team of designers and engineers. 

  • Successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of complex customer facing product innovation programs

  • Work closely with Executive Sponsors and key drivers both in Axonista and the customer to drive successful program implementation to achieve program objectives

  • Establish priorities and build buy-in to a bias to action approach while following best practice project and program management methodology in program execution

  • Manage customer relationships through working confidently with customers and building trusted advisor relationships

  • Provide high quality leadership of program resources. Encourage people to work collaboratively to reach decisions, while establishing an escalation process for disagreement as appropriate

  • Proactively manage change and risks to ensure successful program delivery, with a focus on effectively communicating change both internally and to the customer

  • Contribute to continual improvement of the product innovation program as it scales, as well as building the program management discipline across the business

Requirements
  • Third level degree in a related field, as well as an industry recognised Project Management Qualification

  • 8+ years experience in relevant roles including project / program management, management consulting, change management or professional services delivery 

  • Experience working in a technology organisation

  • Experience leading complex change programs through managing outputs and deliverables, to engagement objectives, timelines and budgets

  • Experience managing enterprise level customer relationships involving senior stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and have the ability to influence executive stakeholders and other teams

  • Adept in getting up to speed quickly in unfamiliar subject matter areas to ensure you make an immediate impact

  • Results and metrics driven - highly quantitative and analytical

  • Experience in leading and managing teams in a remote environment with geographically dispersed teams

  • Ability to understand complex inputs and to distil critical information

  • Comprehensive commercial and business acumen

Bonus points
  • Background in delivering creative digital agency projects 

  • Video / Media industry knowledge and understanding of consumer video apps

  • An understanding of how modern product teams operate 

  • A love of video based stories and storytelling

We are Headquartered in Ireland with our teams dotted throughout Europe. This is a remote position (working from home) located in Ireland, Spain or Croatia with in-person collaboration at least monthly throughout the year.
